We are a group of artists that graduated together from a BTEC HNC course at Gloscat College, Gloucester. We all have the City & Guilds Creative Studies (Embroidery) Parts 1 & 2 qualification and / or fine art degrees. We strive to exhibit new work as a group every year. Our members also exhibit individually. We try to encourage each other to develop our own style while using a common theme; making our exhibitions varied and interesting. Rubicon, our name, comes from the expression ‘to cross the Rubicon’ meaning to take an irrevocable step from which there is no turning back. This seemed very apt and a wonderful incentive for us to strive towards original and varied work. |
